Curves of my life

Maybe I wanted too much
Instead of giving in to what I needed
And maybe you pushed too hard
Crying out to make me see
But we took the way as it came
Curled as tender as we could
The curves of our lifes

Love grew up between these walls
Fights fell apart on this floor
But this skeleton of love lived
Shook – but always stood tall
Bowed the excuses and begged for more
Provided a home for love to give

We moved on to diverge
Everything we once were had to be dissolved
So little left from what had past
Yet so much to think of now I go
I take the way as it comes
Follow the road where it bends
The curves of my life

Love grew up between these walls
Fights fell apart on this floor
But this skeleton of love lived
Shook – but always stood tall
Bowed the excuses and begged for more
Provided a home for love to give

Throwing away the shelter’s key
Tomorrow I’ll find and secure a new core
It’s all about accepting the idea
That giving in is getting more
‘Cause I embody the way as it comes
Holding tight whenever life shifts
The curves of my life

Love grew up between these walls
Fights fell apart on this floor
But this skeleton of love lived
Shook – but always stood tall
Bowed the excuses and begged for more
Let go the excuses and curled for more
Giving way to the curves to refer
